Coaching kids (and caregivers) from birth through the preteen years
The idea of coaching can feel abstract, especially with a very young child. What does it actually look like for a toddler, a third grader, or a preteen?
The short answer: coaching grows as your child grows. While the core focus stays the same, how that support looks changes by age. It also shifts as your child learns. So they may work on one skill at first, then switch focus once progress has been made.
Of course, you play an important role in your child’s growth. Which is why parent coaching is often a key part of care, especially in the early years.
