Foundations of Fatherhood
Dads shouldn’t have to navigate parenthood alone. And when dads are supported, families thrive. That’s why we are offering 1:1 coaching, group support, and other digital tools — specifically created with fathers (and father figures) in mind.
Fatherhood brings joy, pressure, uncertainty, and big changes. So, whether you're a new dad, raising a growing child, or adjusting to a new phase of parenthood, BrightLife Kids is here to support.

In this upcoming three-part series, BrightLife Kids coaches AJ and Brando get together with three other dads to get honest about fatherhood. They cover things men rarely talk about out loud like loneliness, masculinity, mental health, and how hard it can be to make close friends as a busy dad. Real dads, real talk, and real tools you can use today.
The full three-episode series drops June 20–22 — Father’s Day weekend.

What does Foundations of Fatherhood include?
If you’re reading this, you probably know that BrightLife Kids offers free behavioral health coaching to California families with kids ages 0–12.
What you may not know is that the California Governor’s office recently created an executive order to address the mental health and well-being of boys and young men. In it, we learn that nearly one in four men under age 30 report having no close friends. That disconnection and isolation lead to silent suffering along with a higher risk of poor health, depression, and unemployment.
Many boys and young men grow up to be fathers and father figures, just like you. And while dads may not ask for help, they need just as much support as moms do — to raise healthy kids and break the cycle of loneliness.
Foundations of Fatherhood is our way of contributing to the support system for dads and father figures in California. We are offering:
Live, 1-to-1 video coaching for dads with kids of any age.
Group coaching and an online peer community for newer dads with kids ages 0–3 (coming soon). These two formats work together to build community and connect dads to others going through a similar stage.
A three-part podcast series featuring a diverse group of dads and open, honest conversation about parenting topics that matter.
Always confidential. Always 100% free. No insurance or referrals needed.
