More about Nissa

  • What experience do you have working with families?

I partner with kids and adults to gain stronger communication, deeper understanding, and practical tools for shifting unhelpful thoughts into more empowering ones. With parents especially, I focus on strategies that spark genuine, lasting change from within, rippling out to benefit the whole family.

  • What inspired you to become a coach or coach specialist?

I’ve seen firsthand how humans blossom when they feel truly supported in understanding themselves and trying new approaches. Coaching lets me blend my love of psychology, personal growth, and honest conversation to support people in crafting lives that feel more aligned and less overwhelming.

  • What are your strengths when it comes to working with kids and families?

Warmth, humor, and grounded insight is important to cultivate in every coaching relationship to move from “I can’t do this” to “I haven’t figured it out...YET.” I have a knack for helping folks clarify what truly matters to them and build confidence through small, meaningful changes, so they leave feeling capable, encouraged, and ready to keep going.

  • What else would you like families to know about you?

I’m a proud aunt to four kids and spent time as a live-in nanny for the oldest two during their early years. Some are neurodivergent, and all of them have shaped how I think about the many ways kids learn, communicate, and find their footing — along with a deep appreciation for both the hard parts and the magic of growing up.
