What experience do you have working with families?
I spent the first part of my professional life working as a middle and high school teacher, and provided home daycare in the summers. I’ve also worked closely with adult and child survivors of domestic violence.
What inspired you to become a coach or coach specialist?
While working as a health teacher, I continued to see the enormous mental health needs of our student population which led me to pursue my Masters degree in Social Work and become a behavioral health coach.
What are your strengths when it comes to working with kids and families?
My strengths include using empathy, collaboration, and providing a judgment-free zone within a solution-oriented, strengths-based approach.
What else would you like families to know about you?
I am married and a mother of three adult children. I’m an animal lover and have two cats and a dog.
