More about Alexa

  • What experience do you have working with families?

I have experience supporting kids, teens, and families in school, behavioral health and telehealth settings. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of listening, meeting families where they are and creating realistic goals that feel manageable. I strive to provide encouragement, empathy, and practical support while helping families feel heard and understood.

  • What inspired you to become a coach or coach specialist?

I have always been someone people feel comfortable coming to for support, guidance, or simply to listen. I enjoy creating a safe, judgment free space where people can be themselves and feel heard. Coaching allows me to build on that passion by supporting families through challenges and reminding them of the strengths they already have.

  • What are your strengths when it comes to working with kids and families?

My strengths are empathy, active listening, patience, and being genuinely present. I make an effort to get to know each family and remember the little things that are important to them. I want families to feel that they have someone who truly listens, cares, and supports them.

  • What else would you like families to know about you?

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy connecting with my loved ones and pets, getting creative in the kitchen, and spending time in nature to recharge and decompress. My hope is that every parent and child leaves our conversations feeling supported, understood, and encouraged.
