What is parent coaching?
Parent coaching is a collaboration between you and a caring expert to help you handle everyday parenting challenges with more confidence, calm, and connection — for your child and for yourself. It offers:
Practical guidance centered on what’s happening right now
A family-led approach shaped by what success looks like to you
Evidence-based strategies shared in everyday language
Support that never feels clinical or overwhelming
Parent coaching is a key part of our behavioral health approach. By supporting caregivers in real time, we help build everyday skills that improve emotional wellbeing, strengthen family patterns, and encourage long-term growth for children.
In addition to parent coaching, BrightLife Kids coaches also work directly with children to support the whole family. Learn more about what to expect from parent coaching.

How parent coaching helps children and caregivers
Behavioral health coaching supports families across many common, stressful moments of childhood. Coaches work with both kids and parents, with support tailored to your child’s age.
Families often seek coaching for help with:
Big emotions, meltdowns, or frequent power struggles
Stress, worry, or changes at school or home
Changes at home, like someone new in the home or divorce
Bedtime battles, routines, and daily transitions
Attention, focus, or follow-through challenges
Caregivers feeling unsure how to respond — or how to stay calm yourself
Because parents are such an important part of a child’s world, coaching often works through caregivers, especially for younger children. Coaches help parents build tools, confidence, and consistency so progress continues between sessions.
