You’ve got a parenting question, but it’s 10 p.m. and your to-do list still isn’t done. You don’t have time to book a coaching session or wait for next week’s appointment — you just need help. An answer to your question so you can cross that off your list.
That’s exactly why we created BrightLife Kids Peer Communities.
These digital, coach-supported spaces are designed for busy caregivers who want answers, support, and connection without the pressure of scheduling a meeting. Whether you’re navigating tantrums, sibling fights, or school stress, you can post a question anytime and trust the answers you get.
Every community is moderated and supported by trained behavioral coaches and a 24/7 safety team, so you know you’re in a space that’s kind, respectful, and truly helpful. Whether you want to ask a question, share your story, or simply read along, you’ll find real support from people who get it.
Built for busy parents
Not every parent has time for coaching sessions. That doesn't mean you should go without support. Our Peer Communities offer a flexible, low-pressure way to connect whenever it fits your day. Whether you’re up for a midnight feeding or catching five quiet minutes after school drop-off, you can pop in anytime. It’s support that works on your schedule.
Peer Communities work a lot like the group chat platforms many people use at work. You can hop in when it’s convenient, scroll through threads by topic, and respond or react when you have a moment. But unlike those workspaces, these are built with heart, care, and expert guidance just for caregivers. No deadlines, just real support, when you need it.
What are Peer Communities?
BrightLife Kids Peer Communities are safe, moderated spaces where caregivers can:
Ask questions
Share advice
Learn from coaches
Get connected to others going through similar challenges
Think of it like a friendly neighborhood group chat — but digital, expert-informed, and organized by your child’s age and stage. There are five communities to choose from:
Babies & toddlers (0-2)
Preschoolers (3-5)
Elementary schoolers (6-10)
Tweens (11-13)
LatinX/Hispanic caregivers
You can join one or all, whatever fits your family. Each space includes posts and conversations on everything from picky eating and tantrums to emotional outbursts, learning challenges, and identity support.
Join conversations that matter to you
When you first join, you'll answer a few quick prompts to reflect on what you're currently going through or have already experienced.
This lets you:
Connect with others facing the same challenges
See how many people are experiencing what you are
Offer wisdom or receive it, depending on where you are in the journey
Whether it’s sleep struggles with your toddler or big feelings from your tween, you’ll see you’re far from alone. In fact, early results show that nearly all users are currently experiencing real-time parenting challenges, with strong interest in developmental milestones, social skills, and emotional growth .
Coach-guided, community-powered
This isn’t just another message board. Every Peer Community is supported by behavioral health coaches who:
Guide conversations
Post thoughtful weekly discussion prompts
Share tips and BrightLife Kids resources
Respond directly to caregiver questions
Moderators and safety agents also monitor conversations 24/7 to keep things safe, kind, and supportive. So whether you post or simply read along, you can trust this is a respectful, bully-free space where your parenting voice matters.
Support that meets you where you are
Communities are perfect for those moments in between coaching sessions, or if you’re just not ready to meet with a coach yet. It’s especially helpful for:
Minor parenting bumps that don’t need a full appointment
Exploring challenges before committing to 1:1 support
Caregivers who want to connect, but on their own time
In fact, our research shows that 88% of caregivers say talking to other parents is the most important reason they join virtual peer communities. 64% say it helps them feel a sense of belonging.
Easy, anonymous onboarding
Signing up is simple and secure:
Choose a nickname (your real name doesn’t appear)
Select the community or communities you want to join

And that’s it—you’re in!
