# Supporting families facing school avoidance

Since the pandemic, more children are struggling with school mornings, separation worries, and getting out the door. BrightLife Kids can help families address the root causes of school avoidance before absenteeism becomes chronic.

## A letter from the California State Superintendent

The California Department of Education (CDE), in collaboration with the California Health and Human Services Agency and the Department of Health Care Services, recognizes BrightLife Kids as an essential partner for schools. They not only approve of our program, but also encourage educators to promote our services and incorporate our high-quality behavioral health coaching into their existing wellness supports.

## Get support for a family

When a family could benefit from additional behavioral health support, BrightLife Kids makes it easy for you to offer them help. No cost, ever. No insurance or referral needed. All the support you need.

**Refer a family to us!** They will be able to access free coaching, caregiver support, digital tools, and care coordination without insurance, referrals, or long waitlists.
