# Supporting immigrant families

Kids may hear about ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) through school, media, or overheard conversations. They may have personally seen an ICE raid or someone they know being taken away unexpectedly. This can bring up feelings of fear, anger, and confusion. What helps most is calm, caring support from a trusted grown-up. We can help.

## A letter from the California State Superintendent

The California Department of Education (CDE), in collaboration with the California Health and Human Services Agency and the Department of Health Care Services, recognizes BrightLife Kids as an essential partner for schools. ## Get support for a family

When a family could benefit from additional behavioral health support, BrightLife Kids makes it easy for you to offer them help. No cost, ever. No insurance or referral needed. All the support you need.

**Refer a family to us!** They will be able to access free coaching, caregiver support, digital tools, and care coordination without insurance, referrals, or long waitlists.
