## **How parent coaching helps children and caregivers**

Behavioral health coaching supports families across many common, stressful moments of childhood. Coaches work with both kids and parents, with support tailored to your child’s age.

Families often seek coaching for help with:

- Big emotions, meltdowns, or frequent power struggles
- Stress, worry, or changes at school or home
- Changes at home, like someone new in the home or divorce
- Bedtime battles, routines, and daily transitions
- Attention, focus, or follow-through challenges
- Caregivers feeling unsure how to respond — or how to stay calm yourself

Because parents are such an important part of a child’s world, coaching often works through caregivers, especially for younger children. Coaches help parents build tools, confidence, and consistency so progress continues between sessions.

## Why our coaching approach works

Coaches turn big ideas into small, doable changes, like calmer routines, better listening, and staying grounded during tough moments. It’s not about perfection, but progress that shows up in real life.

Caregiver involvement is encouraged for better outcomes, but always handled with flexibility and respect. Coaching adjusts based on your child’s age and your family’s needs.

### Partnership first

Coaches work alongside families, honoring your values, culture, and goals.
