## More about Emily

- **What experience do you have working with families?**

I have experience working as a care advocate and mental health worker for families and kids in various mental health settings. This spans from pcp advocacy, in-school counseling, and pediatric inpatient hospitalization. My motivation is to make the process of getting mental health support easy for all members of the family and for kids to feel heard and cared for in the process.
- **What inspired you to become a coach or coach specialist?**

I had a wonderful experience with a coach that inspired me to use my background in mental health and interest in coaching to fall into this part of the field. I’m inspired to have meaningful conversations and to present tools that actively support members in the present moment. I love being able to apply tools and achieve goals together!
- **What are your strengths when it comes to working with kids and families?**

Listening to understand and building rapport are my biggest strengths.
- **What else would you like families to know about you?**

I am also a parent, which means I know firsthand that parenting can feel challenging at times. I’m grateful to be part of a team partnering with parents and caregivers to make it feel just a little bit lighter!
