## More about Corey

- **What experience do you have working with families?**

I have several years of experience supporting kids and families through Applied Behavior Analysis, early intervention, and family-centered behavioral coaching. I work collaboratively with caregivers to understand what may be contributing to challenging behavior and develop realistic strategies that fit their family’s daily life. My background also includes specialized education in autism, ADHD, communication, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and behavior change.
- **What inspired you to become a coach or coach specialist?**

As someone with ADHD and personal experience with anxiety, I understand how meaningful it can be to feel genuinely heard rather than judged. I became a coach because I wanted to help kids and caregivers better understand what is happening beneath a behavior and feel more confident responding to it. I enjoy turning evidence-based strategies into practical steps families can actually use in everyday life.
- **What are your strengths when it comes to working with kids and families?**

My strengths include building trust quickly, listening without judgment, and helping families turn overwhelming concerns into clear, achievable steps. I am collaborative, compassionate, and practical, and I adapt strategies to each child and family rather than expecting one approach to work for everyone. I also bring warmth and humor to coaching while keeping the work focused and grounded in evidence.
- **What else would you like families to know about you?**

I genuinely enjoy helping people recognize their own strengths. Outside of coaching, I value spending time and connecting with family and friends, and I love learning about home improvement and tackling DIY projects. I also maintain an impressively ambitious collection of unfinished projects! I bring that same curiosity, creativity, and sense of humor into my work with families.
